This last weekend, I went to Itasca State Park in northern Minnesota. This is the home to Lake Itasca, the lake that marks the origin of the mighty Mississippi River, which flows 2,500 miles away from the park. I waded all the way across the Mississippi in about eight steps.
I also climbed a fire tower. Go, me!
